About TeaSpill

TeaSpill is the private, anonymous lounge built exclusively for women — a digital space where honesty is protected by design, community is built on trust, and no woman ever has to filter herself to stay safe. We launched in 2026 with one conviction: women deserve better from the internet than what they have been given. TeaSpill is our answer to that.

The Problem We Are Solving

The internet was not built with women in mind. It was built for scale, for engagement, for advertising revenue — and women were the product, not the priority. Every major social platform that promised connection has delivered the same outcome: women editing themselves into silence, harassment passing as debate, and personal stories weaponised by strangers.

Women know things. They see patterns others miss. They have survival knowledge — about relationships, about red flags, about workplaces and friendships and family dynamics — that is genuinely valuable. But sharing that knowledge publicly comes at a cost. The moment a woman speaks honestly online, she becomes a target. Her credibility is attacked. Her appearance is critiqued. Her story is used against her.

So most women stop sharing. Or they share a curated version — softened, hedged, designed not to provoke. The performance becomes constant. And that performed version of honesty is nearly worthless to the woman reading it who actually needs the truth.

TeaSpill was built to break that cycle.

What TeaSpill Is

TeaSpill is a private, anonymous social app for women. Think of it as a lounge — a physical space where women have always gathered to speak freely, behind closed doors, away from the noise. We have built that lounge for the digital world.

Inside TeaSpill, you enter Rooms — live, topic-based spaces where conversations happen in real time. You never create a public profile. You are never assigned a permanent username. Every session generates a temporary anonymous alias that disappears the moment you leave. Nothing you say is ever attached to your real identity. Not to other users. Not to advertisers. Not to anyone.

You can talk about your relationship. You can ask whether something is a red flag and get honest, collective answers from thousands of women who have seen the same pattern. You can vent without advice. You can share a win without performing humility. You can ask the question you are too embarrassed to ask anywhere else.

TeaSpill is where you say the thing you actually mean.

Our Mission

Our mission is to give every woman on earth access to an honest, safe, and private space where she can speak freely and be genuinely supported.

Not supported in the way algorithms optimise for — not the engagement loop of likes and shares. Supported in the way a real community supports: with honesty, with lived experience, with the kind of advice that only comes from someone who has been exactly where you are and got out the other side.

We measure our success not by daily active users or ad revenue, but by whether women feel safer having used TeaSpill. Whether they made a better decision. Whether they felt less alone. Whether they said something true that they had never said before.

Why Anonymity Is Central to Everything

Anonymity is not a loophole at TeaSpill. It is the foundation. It is the single design decision that makes everything else possible.

When a woman cannot be identified, she cannot be targeted. She cannot be stalked. She cannot be screenshotted and exposed. She cannot be judged by her employer, her partner, her family, or the strangers who have decided she is too loud, too sexual, too angry, too much.

That freedom changes what she says. It changes the quality of the conversation. It changes what advice is given, because the person giving it has no social capital to protect. Anonymous honesty is a different thing entirely from public honesty — more direct, more useful, and far harder to find anywhere else on the internet.

We protect anonymity at the infrastructure level. There is no profile. There is no history. Session aliases are cryptographically randomised and never stored against device identifiers. We cannot tell you who said what inside a room — because we genuinely do not know. That is not a marketing claim. It is an architectural choice.

The Community

TeaSpill's community is called the Lounge. Women inside the Lounge come from every country, every background, every walk of life. What they share is a need for a space that is honest, private, and theirs.

The Lounge is governed by community values, not algorithms. Rooms are moderated by Sister Moderators — women trained in trauma-informed communication, crisis response, and community mediation. Content is surfaced based on genuine engagement — not on what keeps you scrolling longest or what the highest bidder wants you to see.

Our community has already helped tens of thousands of women think through difficult decisions, leave bad situations, celebrate quiet wins, and feel less alone at 2am. That is the product. That is the metric that matters.

Safety Is Not a Feature. It Is the Foundation.

Every social platform says it cares about safety. Very few have built their entire product architecture around it. TeaSpill has.

Our AI safety layer scans content in real time for patterns associated with harassment, coercion, grooming, self-harm promotion, and identity exposure. Flagged content reaches a human Sister Moderator within minutes. Moderators work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no skeleton crew on weekends. No automated-only moderation after 6pm.

We have zero tolerance for content that attempts to unmask anonymous users — because the moment anonymity can be broken, everything built on top of it collapses. Any user who attempts to identify, expose, or track another user is permanently removed. No appeals. No second chances.

We do not sell data. We do not share data. We do not serve advertising. Our business model is a Premium subscription tier for women who want more — not a surveillance model that monetises the conversations women trust us with.

The Product

TeaSpill is available as a mobile app on iOS and Android, with a web companion for desktop access. The core product is free — every woman has access to all Rooms, Spill Cards, Red Flag Radar, Glow-Up Challenges, Sister Match, and the Badge system at no cost. That will never change.

TeaSpill Premium unlocks private room creation, extended anonymous chats, spill archives, early access to new features, custom session aliases, and an entirely ad-free experience. Premium is offered monthly and annually. Annual members save 40%. A number of Premium memberships are granted free each month to women nominated by the community for exceptional contributions.

We will never put core safety features, moderation access, or basic community participation behind a paywall. The lounge is open to every woman who needs it.

Our Values

Honesty over performance. We build features that enable truth, not ones that reward the best-performing version of it.

Safety over growth. We will slow our growth before we compromise the safety of this space. We have turned down partnership offers that would have required us to share data. We will do it again.

Community over content. TeaSpill is not a content platform. It is a community platform. The difference is that content is created for an audience. Community is created for each other.

Women first, always. Every product decision is filtered through the same question: does this make the experience better for women, or does it make it worse? That question has killed many features and has saved this product from becoming something we would be ashamed of.

Our Team

TeaSpill was founded by women who were tired of building for companies that saw women as an audience to monetise. The team is majority women. The Trust & Safety function is entirely women. The board and advisory group includes women who have built and led communities, safety teams, and technology products at significant scale.

We are a small team operating with high trust and a clear mandate. We do not move fast and break things. We move deliberately and build things that last. The women in this lounge are trusting us with their most honest thoughts. We take that seriously every day.

The Name

To 'spill the tea' means to tell the unfiltered truth. The gossip, the real story, the thing everyone is thinking but no one is saying out loud. Tea has always been the drink of private conversations — of women gathered around a table speaking freely.

We took that phrase and made it a place. A lounge. Somewhere the tea is always hot, the doors are always closed, and every woman who walks in knows she is among sisters.

Pull up a chair. The lounge is open.
