Badges are TeaSpill's way of recognising your contribution to the community — without ever revealing your identity. They're earned, not bought.

How You Earn Badges

Badges accumulate based on the quality and impact of your interactions — not the quantity. Upvotes from other women, helpful advice that gets flagged by a moderator, completing challenges, and being consistently kind all contribute.

Badge Tiers

Seedling — You've just joined. Welcome to the lounge.

Sister — You've shown up consistently and contributed meaningfully.

Oracle — Your spills and advice are regularly upvoted and cited by others.

Guardian — You've gone above and beyond to keep the space safe and supportive.

Legend — Rare. Earned over time. You are the lounge.

What Badges Do

Badges give your words more context inside a room. When an Oracle speaks on a topic, others know the advice comes from someone with a long track record of being thoughtful. Badges never reveal identity — only pattern of behaviour.

Can Badges Be Revoked?

Yes. If a badged account violates community guidelines, all badges are suspended immediately pending review. Earning them back requires a full re-review by the Trust & Safety team.
