Report a Problem
Your report matters. Every flag reaches a real human moderator. We review every report — no exceptions.
How to Report Inside the App
Tap the flag icon on any Spill Card, message, or room. Select the reason that best describes the issue. Add any additional context you think is helpful. Submit. You will receive a notification when the report has been reviewed.
What Happens After You Report
Your report is sent immediately to our moderation queue. A Sister Moderator reviews it within the hour. If the content violates our guidelines, it is removed and the account is actioned. You remain anonymous throughout — the reported user never knows who flagged them.
Reporting Self-Harm or Crisis
If someone in a room appears to be in crisis or expressing intent to harm themselves or others, use the Emergency Report option (red flag icon). This escalates immediately to a senior moderator and, where appropriate, crisis resources are shared with the user.
Reporting Abuse Outside the App
If you have experienced harassment, stalking, or abuse connected to your TeaSpill use and need to report it to law enforcement, our Trust & Safety team can provide a formal statement of account history as required by legal process. Contact safety@teaspill.co with the subject line LEGAL REQUEST.
False Reports
Submitting false reports to target another user is a violation of our guidelines and may result in suspension of your account.
